Wazito FC coach calls for the sacking of referee after Rangers loss

Stewart Hall, the Wazito FC head coach has called for the sacking of the referee who officiated their week 19 Kenyan Premier League clash against Posta Rangers.

An agitated Hall felt that their opponents didn't deserve a penalty that led to his team conceding the second goal through Joseph Mbugi.

Wazito went 0-3 down in the game staged at the Kenyatta Stadium Machakos and while hailing their opponents, Hall described the referee’s outing as a joke.

“First allow me to congratulate Posta. They pressed the ball and worked so hard but I got to say that was the worst refereeing display for a long time. How can one justify that penalty? it’s an absolute joke.

Joking Decision

“The first goal was a marginal 50/50 ball it could have gone either way but the penalty is an absolute joke. Even their bench can’t believe it and the fourth official is embarrassed at the decision. That is an absolute disgrace. Horrific. He should be banned it is terrible,” Hall said in his post-match interview.

The loss which placed Wazito at position 14 after collecting 11 points was their seventh on the trot and things don’t get easy for them as they are slated to take on Kakamega Homeboyz in their next league outing.
