Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen anticipated move to Italian side Inter Milan might be finalised in the next 24 hours, Futaa understands.
Inter Milan chief executive Giuseppe Marotta told Italian TV DAZN that the club was working to get Eriksen out of London. He spoke before Inter were held to a 1-1 draw by Cagliari on Sunday afternoon.
He said: “You all know that we are negotiating with Tottenham. I am optimistic and I hope everything can be concluded quickly because the market closes on Friday and we hope to conclude the negotiations in the next few days."
Eriksen has been looking for a way out of Spurs after finding playing time limited under the new boss Jose Mourinho. The north London club is holding out to cash in on the Danish international and prevent him walking away on free in Summer.
