Super Eagle goalkeeper trainer Aloy Agu has announced that there is room for more goalkeepers in the team ahead of the 2022 world cup qualifying campaign.
Since Carl Ikeme was diagnosed with leukaemia, Nigeria has not had a reliable goalkeeper.
Agu admitted that there is a need to fortify the goalkeeping position as Nigeria seek to go past Central African Republic, Liberia, and Cape Verde, and book a ticket to the 2022 World Cup.
“Everything is possible, we are looking around and the more we see, the more we invite into the team and we also making sure that the ones we have are in good shape,” he told brila.net.
“That’s what football is all about, the competition will surely make the team better and Nigeria deserved to have the best legs and best hands.
