Zesco United has arrived in Lubumbashi ahead of Saturday's CAF Champions League group A matchday six encounter against TP Mazembe.
The Zambia Super League defending arrived in DR Congo this morning and had their first training session this afternoon.
Zesco United are already out of the competition but head coach George Lwandamina says the match is important and the team will treat it as such.
Lwandamina went on to admit that the team is not doing well and had to start performing better for the sake of the fans and the sponsors.
"This game is important I know we are out but we have the prestige and integrity to protect. We will go in this game with the will to do better, Of late we have not done well even in the local league so we want to find where we can start from and it could be this game," he said.
" The morale is high though we coming from a loss still the players want to do better. We have to put our act together and start impressing our fans and sponsors who are at pains, It has not been a good road, " he added.
TP Mazembe will play host to Zesco United at the Stade du TP Mazembe in Lubumbashi while Primiero de Agosto host Egyptian giants Zamalek SC in Luanda.
The two matches are formality games as Mazembe and Zamalek have already qualified for the quarter-finals.
