Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng has admitted that leaving Fiorentina for Besiktas was one of the easiest decisions he has made in his football career, Ghanasoccernet reported.
Boateng joined the Turkish Super Lig side on a six months loan deal with an option to buy in the next transfer window.
The 32-year-old made 14 appearances for Fiorentina and scored one goal for the side during a period of six months.
“I have always looked at Turkey and Besiktas as a priority and I wanted to come here,” he told the club’s official website. “In Berlin, I had many Turkish friends who followed Besiktas.
“As soon as they heard about the news that I would come here, they wrote me: ‘You are finally coming home’.
“When the proposal arrived, I didn’t have to think twice about it and told my manager: ‘We accept this offer’.”
