Ghanaian forward Kevin-Prince Boateng was handed his debut for Besiktas and marked his presence with a goal as the side went on to win 3-0 over Gaziantep in the Turkish Super Lig.
Boateng joined Besiktas on loan from Serie A side Fiorentina until the end of the 2019/20 season and has been very expressive about finally joining his favourite club in Turkey.
The 32-year-old came off the bench as a second-half substitute for Adem Ljajic and it proved fruitful for the manager.
Besiktas captain Burak Yilmaz opened the scoreline in the 52nd minute of the match and 18 minutes layer the debutant Boateng scored the second goal with an assist from Gokhan Gonul.
Jeremain Lens sealed the victory for Besiktas as he scored the final goal to give the hosts a solid win.
Boateng took to social media to share his delight in being handed his debut and scoring in the same game.
