Former Nigerian defender Joseph Yobi has been appointed by the Nigeria Football Federation as the new assistant coach of the Super Eagles.
NFF has announced Yobo will take over from Imama Amapakabo a few weeks to the kick-off Nigeria's 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The former Everton defender hanged his international boot in 2014, after making his third FIFA World Cup appearance in Brazil.
