Chelsea are reportedly in talks with Inter Milan for the transfer of midfielder Matias Vecino.
The Blues announced the signing of Ajax star Hakim Ziyech on Thursday in a £37 million deal and will step up the chase for the Uruguayan star.
According to the Daily Express, the Blues are close to agreeing with the Italian giants in a deal thought to be around £23 million.
Vecino is considered surplus to requirements at the club, with manager Antonio Conte, keen on raising funds to sign new players.
Arsenal, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with interest for the 27-year-old, who has spent seven seasons in Italy.
The Blues also retain a strong interest in Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho, who has been tipped to leave the club in the summer.
The former Manchester City star is keen on heading back to England, with Manchester United too showing a strong interest.
The teenager is said to hold a soft spot for the London side, but United have a shout as well and can sway him to sign for them ahead of the Stamford Bridge outfit.
