Neither Super Eagles or the Football Federation will underate team's next AFCON 2021 qualifiers opponents, says first vice President of the Nigerian Football Federation Barrister Seyi Akinwumi.
Super Eagles will be up against Sierra Leone next month in Asaba in an AFCON 2021 qualifier and Seyi has stated they will not look down on their opponents.
"Football in Africa has come of age and the teams in Africa are all strong so we need to be very weary of this our penchant for looking down on teams," he told www.brila.net.
"I don’t think it’s a straightforward ball like people will always think it is. I think we need to work, we need to prepare very hard," he added.
Super Eagles who are currently on top of their group with six points, will take on the Sierra Leonians on the 19th of March at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.
