Ghana international Bernard Mensah has hit out at the officiating in the Turkish Super Lig following Kayserispor's shocking 5-1 defeat to Kasimpasa on Sunday, Ghanasoccernet reported.
In all fairness, referees have one of the toughest jobs in the world and so often they have to make tough decisions in a game of football; and in most cases, they are criticised by fans, players and managers alike.
However, it is unknown what triggered Mensah to lash out at the officials but he certainly did not mince his words.
“Is a shame every week this referees making the same mistakes. Turkey is a great nation and people love football here but with these referees, I don’t understand anything.. they have to do something about this,” Mensah posted on his Twitter handle.
Mensah has scored three goals and provided six assists from 19 appearances for Kayserispor this season.
