Arsenal will be without the services of midfielder Lucas Torreira for the rest of the season, as he is set to miss eight to 10 weeks of action after suffering a fracture in his right ankle last week.
The Uruguay international was taken off on a stretcher during Arsenal's 2-0 FA Cup win at Portsmouth and was later spotted leaving Fratton Park on crutches.
The loss of Torreira comes as a blow for the Gunners who are now fighting for a Champions League spot via a top-four finish after being bundled out of the Europa League by Olympiacos.
Arsenal is 9th on the table with 40 points and 8 points off the top four spot, but with a game in hand.
The Gunners' game in hand is against Manchester City and it will be played on Wednesday at the Etihad.
