Besiktas striker Kevin-Prince Boateng has revealed that he wants to leave Turkey and head out to Ghana following the increasing Coronavirus pandemic across the world, Ghanasoccernet reported.
However, it is believed that the Turkish Super Lig are not keen on the idea of releasing as he will still be at risk whether he goes to Germany or Ghana respectively.
Turkey has currently reported 191 positive virus cases and counting with two deaths.
The Black and Whites issued a statement urging fans to remain calm and take extra precautions:
"This virus has spread to almost every part of the world. The World Health Organization said this was a global epidemic.
"Where will you go, even if you want to take leave? The flights are currently stopped.
Turkey also one of the most reliable country for the moment on this issue. Our state is taking the necessary measures.
"Nobody should panic. Not only you, other players, other teams and we are also worried. We must be calm first.”
