English Premier League clubs Aston Villa and Liverpool are set to battle for Werder Bremen striker Milot Rashica's signature.
According to Birmingham Live, Rashica was linked with a Premier League move in January 2019 but the Bundesliga club was demanding £35million from his suitors and that eventually fended off the interest.
The Mirror claims that Villa have revived their interest in the Kosovo international and are prepared to match Liverpool's offer as they are desperate to secure another striker in their bid to remain in topflight football.
Rashica's agent Altin Lana confirmed that Werder Bremen have not changed their stance on the asking price.
“Nobody knows the future of Rashica at this moment,” he said. “Initially we will see how the championship will end. Clubs have huge financial losses.
“If Rashica transfers to any Italian, English, Spanish or French club, then he will cost €38m [£35m].”
