Everton have reportedly expressed their interest in acquiring Aston Villa midfielder John Mcginn's signature according to TeamTalk.
Villa are in desperate need to remain in the Premier League as they are in contention for relegation at the end of the 2019/20 season.
McGinn who has been an outstanding player for the Villans, joined the side from Scottish Premiership outfit Hibernian.
The 25-year-old's performances helped Villa win promotion to the Premier League in the Championship playoffs and has gone on to be a key figure for Dean Smith.
Everton had a bad start to the season but have since shown great improvement since Carlo Ancelotti took over the reins from Marco Silva and now the Italian boss is aiming for his charges to play on the Europe stage.
Ancelotti has picked McGinn as a possible transfer target as he feels he could be the player to make the difference in the Toffees midfield.
Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City are also believed to interested in signing the Scotland international.
