Galatasaray head coach Fatih Terim on Monday confirmed via his Twitter account he had tested positive for Coronavirus.
The news came after the club had confirmed that vice-chairman Abdurrahim Albayrak had contracted Covid-19.
Terim posted on his Twitter account, "According to the test results made today, my Corona Virus result was positive.
"I'm in good hands at the hospital. Do not worry. About to communicate as soon as possible. What did we not achieve when we put it shoulder to shoulder! We are with you, teacher! Once again."
The Turkish Super Lig was suspended last week until further notice due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Turkey has officially recorded 1,529 cases of the new coronavirus while 37 people have died, according to the health minister late Monday.
