Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor's president Ahmet Ağaoğlu has revealed that he held talks with Caleb Ekuban about stating in turkey despite the coronavirus pandemic, Ghanasoccernet reported.
Ekuban was reportedly keen on going back home to Ghana but Ağaoğlu persuaded him and Nigeria international Tony Nwakaeme to not leave Turkey.
"I often speak to foreign players. There are Ekuban and Nwakaeme who are not with their family now. They are obviously more affected."
"When they said they wanted to go to their country, we stated that they would be in quarantine for 14 days if they went, and they will stay in quarantine for 14 days when they returned. They accepted to stay in Turkey.
