Former Zanaco assistant coach, Dabid Chilufya, will be back to football coaching after joining Indeni today.
The FAZ National Division 1 Indeni confirmed Chilufya’s deal will be a six-month agreement and includes an option to renew.
“We have appointed Mr. Dabid Chilufya and his contract started effective on May 1,” Indeni Secretary Andrew Choolwe said.
“His performance based contract will run for six months, we are just remaining with ten games before the season ends. We want to win promotion to the Super Division and that is his target,” added Choolwe.
Chilufya, who now finds employment 10 months after leaving Zanaco, succeeds Mathews Ndhlovu who has left after his contract expired.
Other candidates for the job were Anderson Phiri and Allan Kamwanga.
Will Chilufya lead Indeni to toppled the top two sides Prison Leopards and Young Green Eagles for promotion to the Super League?
