The long wait for some football action finally came to an end on Saturday as Bundesliga returned albeit behind closed doors.
The Rivierdeby clash between Borussia Dortmund and Schalke at Signal Iduna Park was the biggest match of the weekend, and the hosts made light of their work with a comfortable 4-0 win.
The goals, just like others on various grounds, lacked the usual celebrations as players kept a distance, which was one of the prerequisites for resumption.
There were no fans either, making the matches less colorful.
Here are some of the best images from the matches;

Wolfsburg, playing away to Ausburg scored a last-minute winner and the celebrations were special.
It was a stalemate at the bottom as Dusseldorf settled to a 0-0 draw with Paderborn, even though the hosts were unlucky as they hit the post four times!
Bruno Labbadia's first day on the job went to plan as three second-half goals gave them all the three points, which took them to 11th.
