Jurgen Klopp has been backed to leave Liverpool to take over the Germany national team according to Bild reported Christian Falk.
In an interview with Oktob, Falk said that he was convinced that Klopp wants to lead the Germany national team as he would want a new challenge and that the Germany federation wanted the former Dortmund coach.
"I am absolutely certain: DFB wants Klopp and Klopp wants to become coach of the German national team. The question is: can both find the right time? I honestly don't think Klopp will fulfil his contract in Liverpool.
"He has certainly signed the contract to work with no pressure on this topic. If he will win the champions league, he had achieved all goals in Liverpool.
"He will certainly remain Liverpool manager as long as it is a challenge for him. But at some point, he will look for the next challenge.
"And the biggest one for him is National coach of Germany. No one can say today whether both parties will be able to get together for the 2022 World Cup," Falk said.
Klopp recently inked a contract extension to keep him at Anfield until 2024 this coming after leading the team to a Champions League triumph last season.
The team too is on the brink of being crowned the Premier League champions as they only need six points in the remaining games to achieve that.
