πŸ“ Katokopias FC signs former Super Eagles defender Taye Taiwo

Cypriot club Katokopias has signed former Nigerian defender Taye Taiwo on a free transfer. 

Taiwo has signed a twelve months contract with Katokopias with an option of another one year. The former AC Milan and Queens Park Rangers left-back has been without a club since he last played for Finnish side FC Rops in 2016, where he made 62 league appearances, netting two goals. 

The top-flight Cypriot side is Taiwo’s eleventh club since moving to Europe in 2004, The former Lobi Stars man has played for Olympic Marseille, AC Milan, Dynamo Kyiv, HJK Helsinki, Queen Park Rangers, Bursaspor and others.

For the national team, he has made 54 appearances and scored eight goals on his return.
