Early Man United team news as they prepare for Monday night's clash against Southampton

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could name an unchanged side yet again when his side entertain Southampton in an English Premier League match on Monday night.

Solskjaer has named an unchanged squad in the last four matches, and they have delivered with impeccable performances to keep their hopes of playing in next season's Champions League alive.

They also became the first team in Premier League history to win four in a row by a margin of three or more goals - after victories over Sheffield United, Brighton & Hove Albion, Bournemouth, and Aston Villa.

Speaking ahead of Monday's match Solskjaer hinted he could yet again name an unchanged side.

“There's so many things you have to consider when you manage a team,” said Solskjaer. “We've got players here champing at the bit, but also those that are in the rhythm.

“There are loads of decisions to be made, but they make it easier by playing and performing well. If we don't get too many injuries, there's no reason to change too much when you're doing well.”

Solskjaer is lucky to have almost the entire squad fit, with Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe the only players who are presently unavailable for selection due to injury.

The Red Devils, who are currently fifth in the standings, could move to third with a win against the Saints after Leicester dropped points against Bournemouth on Sunday night.
