Arsenal 2-1 West Ham: Nketiah comes off the bench to win it late for the Gunners

Arsenal have now made it two wins out of their first two 2020/21 Premier League matches, thanks to a late Eddie Nketiah goal against a stubborn West Ham side.

The Gunners had to fight till late in the match to get the full three points, and the goal was actually against the run of play.

Here are the highlights:

Arsenal 1-0 West Ham (Lacazette, 25)

Alexandre Lacazette emphatically nodded Arsenal in front from a glorious cross from Aubameyang.

It was the Frenchman's 50th goal in all competitions for the Gunners, and it was a beautiful bullet header.

Arsenal 1-1 West Ham (Antonio, 45)

Michail Antonio hauled the Hammers level on the stroke of half-time.

It was a brilliant, flowing West Ham attack that started with Bowen driving forward and playing Fredericks in on the overlap.

The full-back centered a perfect ball for Antonio and he clinically converted into the Gunners net.

Arsenal 2-1 West Ham (Nketiah, 85)

Arsenal had been second-best throughout the second half but they scored what turned out to be the winner!

It was a substitute, Eddie Nketiah, who got it, finishing from close range after fine work by Dani Ceballos, who squared the ball to him from the left-hand side of the West Ham box.
