Manchester United has reportedly warned young striker Mason Greenwood over his off-field behaviour.
The striker has been in the bad books of the public after breaching Covid-19 protocols while away with the England senior team for his first call up; a move that saw him apologize publicly.
There have been reports too that the player together with teammate Brandon Willians is in trouble for going out for a drink in one night before a match.
While his manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has denied any of the claims owing to his omission in the recent squad by claiming the player has an injury, inner sources at United say the player is being punished for his antics off the field.
While making mistakes is nothing new for a teenage footballer and it isn’t all doom and gloom, Greenwood’s reported behavior is concerning with the club having had great plans with the player; his omission from recent games said to be a protection mechanism put in place by the club.
