Leeds United to revive interest in Wigan Athletic teenager Sean McGurk

Leeds United are believed to be interested in retaining the services of Wigan Athletic teenager Sean McGurk according to reports.

The Sun have reported that Leeds have been monitoring McGurk despite having had their first bid rejected by Wigan.

The report further claims that The Latics have been trying their best to keep hold of their rising star in a bid to avoid losing more talent.

Leeds acquired the services of McGurk's former teammate Joe Gelhardt in the summer transfer window but he is yet to make his first-team appearance.

The Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa has used Gelhardt in the U23 team and this might change McGurk's mind if he will battle with game time opportunities in the first team.

The 17-year-old registered four appearances while scoring two goals in the FA Youth Cup last season.
