French giants Paris Saint Germain are sweating on the fitness of Neymar after the player was withdrawn in the first half of their Champions League game on Wednesday night.
Neymar started in their clash away to Istanbul Basaksehir but was withdrawn in the 26th minute by Pablo Sarabia with earlier reports indicating that the Brazilian might have suffered a hamstring problem.
Neymar had earlier left the pitch for treatment after feeling uncomfortable and despite returning to the pitch to try and shake off the issue, he couldn’t continue with the visitors forced to replace one of their star men.
Speaking after the game on the injury, PSG coach Thomas Tuchel said: "We now have to wait for a diagnosis. It was not serious pain, but he felt uncomfortable.
"Because of the tight schedule, it might cost him a few games, though I cannot be sure at this point."
It is yet not clear if the player will miss some games for his side with PSG set to give a comprehensive report on Thursday.
