Kylian Mbappe set to be on the sidelines ahead of RB Leipzig clash

France international Kylian Mbappe is set to be on the sidelines ahead of Paris Saint-Germain's Champions League clash against RB Leipzig.

Mbappe was not available for selection at the start of the Champions League campaign after he tested positive for Covid-19 and was also out of action for the first three league games.

The 21-year-old has already registered seven goals and seven assists in eight appearances across all competitions and, being an injury doubt ahead of Wednesday comes as a massive blow for PSG.

Mbappe sustained a thigh injury during his side's 3-0 victory against Nantes in which he scored and manager Thomas Tuchel was of the belief that he could be suffering from fatigue.

According to Goal reports, he was involved in Monday's training sessions and was yet to undergo further scans to see the extent of the problem and PSG may have to be without his services.

The Les Parisiens are already without Neymar who picked up an adductor problem during the match against Turkish side Basaksehir and is set to be back in action around mid-November.
