Ghanaian defender Jonathan Mensah has officially played 100 matches for Columbus Crew after featuring in his side's 2-1 victory over Atlanta United.
The victory means Columbus Crew secured a third-place finish in the Eastern Conference which gives an advantage in the Major League Soccer playoffs.
Argentine midfielder Lucas Zelarayan found the back of the net for Crew after 28 minutes of action while Gyasi Zardes scored ten minutes after the break, however, Mercilino Moreno managed to salvage a goal for the visitors.

Mensah has been involved in every match for Crew in the 2020 season and was on top form during his team's well-fought victory.

The 30-year-old joined Crew back in the 2017 season and has since made 97 starts in the 100 of his appearances while scoring three goals and providing three assists in the process.
