Manchester United will not sanction the permanent sale of right-back Diogo Dalot to Serie A side AC Milan.
Dalot is on a season-long deal at Milan and has been brilliant for the side with the club said to be willing to have him on a permanent basis this after playing every minute of their Europa League campaign so far this season, bagging a goal and an assist in their 3-0 win over Sparta Prague.
ESPN now reports that there is no option to buy as part of the loan deal and United will reject any attempts to make the move permanent in January.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of Dalot and believes he can still thrive at Old Trafford with the loan deal to Milan said to have been sanctioned by the manager as a way for the 21-year-old to further his development.
Dalot’s deal at United expires in 2023 and the club does have the option to extend it for a further year.
