Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti is set to raid former club Real Madrid once again this time for the services of midfielder Isco.
In a recent interview before their loss to Man United, Ancelotti’s described Isco as a “fantastic player” and said: “I have a fantastic memory of him”, this came after being asked about the player.
Isco played an astonishing 106 games under the Italian from 2013 to 2015; a period that saw them win the La Decima for Los Blancos in 2014.
The rumours are growing with Rivaldo, in his weekly column in Marca, noting that: “Isco is watching James and knows he’s very happy with his decision of leaving Real Madrid for a club where he had the chance to be a regular starter and finally get back to his best form. He may consider something similar if he keeps being overlooked by Zidane.”
Ancelotti roped midfielder James Rodriguez from Madrid in the summer and it remains to be seen if he can get Isco to boost his midfield options.
