Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hinted that he might change the position of Anthony Martial in the team.
Martial has been used as the main striker this season by United but according to Solskjaer, the Frenchman might be used from the wing after his performance against Istanbul Basaksehir in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
In the game, United used Edison Cavani as the main striker with Marcus Rashford plying the other wing in a three-pronged attack.
“Edinson is a good old fashioned number nine and we haven’t had that for a while and I was happy with how Anthony played off the left.
“I felt first half we saw the intent straight away, they wanted to play and they enjoyed it. It’s a Champions League night at Old Trafford, you’d expect them to enjoy themselves. We scored some very nice goals, I’m pleased,” Solskjaer is quoted by MEN.
