Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has revealed the club could welcome back Christian Pulisic when they take on Tottenham Hotspur over the weekend in the Premier League.
Pulisic missed Chelsea's 2-1 win over Rennes in the Champions League as the winger has been on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
"Christian (Pulisic) stays back and doesn’t travel but the good news is that he has had aggression in the last week," said Lampard.
"The reason he has stayed back is to get some physical work in so hopefully that will have him ready for selection come the weekend and onwards."
Billy Gilmour has recovered from the knee injury he had and is edging closer towards a return to the first team. Since suffering the problem in Chelsea's win over Crystal Palace in July, the Scotland youngster has not seen any first-team action, though he has played for both Chelsea and Scotland's Under-21s.
The Blues will welcome Spurs at Stamford Bridge this Sunday having won all their last six matches in all competitions.
