Manchester United have a couple of injury concerns as they prepare to take on Southampton in Premier League this weekend.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Victor Lindelof were taken off during Manchester United's 4-1 victory over Istanbul in the Champions League due to injuries. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is optimistic the duo will be available for selection this weekend.
"Hopefully they'll be ready for the weekend. It's ankle for Aaron and back for Victor. There was no point taking any more risks," he said.
Paul Pogba, who missed Tuesday's clash is expected to be available this weekend as he had a swollen ankle.
"His ankle was swollen up, he trained yesterday but didn't feel right and this morning was confirmation he couldn't play."
Luke Shaw is set to continue to be on the sidelines after sustaining a hamstring injury before the international break.
"I hope nearer to four (weeks out for Shaw) but with a recurrence of hamstring injuries you can't risk anything and he's still not training with us, we'll see how he reacts to the programme he's on and to the rehab work. Hopefully near four but probably nearer five or six [weeks]."
The England international is expected to resume training next month on the 23rd.
Defender Eric Bailly, who is on the sidelines with a muscle problem could return this weekend. Jesse Lingard is self-isolating while Phil Jones remains a long-term absentee for United with a knee problem.
"Eric has a muscle injury, we think maybe three or four weeks, maybe after the international break he'll be back."
"Jesse is still self-isolating after being in contact with a positive case."
