The English government has allowed Coronavirus Tier 2 cities, where clubs in Liverpool and London, to open doors to 2000 fans inside the stadiums.

The city of Manchester, will unfortunately remain in Tier 3, meaning no fans be allowed to return at the venues.

"Premier League clubs in Liverpool and London will be able to welcome some supporters back into their stadiums after the Government announced which tiers different areas of the country will be in after the end of the second lockdown," Sky Sports reported.

The decision, which will come into effect on 2 December, will benefit teams like Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hostpur, and Crystal Palace. The city of Liverpool will permit Everton and Liverpool fans.

So why not Manchester? 

The city is confirmed to be still in high-risk of Coronavirus infections control, and therefore forces the likes of Man United and Man City fans to wait a little longer.

"Greater Manchester is among the areas that will remain in Tier 3 - classified as 'Very High' risk and the only tier which does not allow any fans to attend matches - when the new regulations come into effect on December 2," added Sky Sports.
