Chelsea and Tottenham settled for a scoreless draw in a Premier League match played at Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening.
The eagerly anticipated clash did not quite live up to the expectations, with both sides happy to play for a point as the match became cagey going into the second half.
Chelsea, who were on a perfect run in recent games, were the better side in the opening half, and almost got the first goal in the 11th minute, but Timo Werner's effort was ruled out for offside.
The best chance of the half however belonged to Spurs after Serge Aurier found himself in space on the edge of the box in the 16th minute and smashed a glorious looking effort towards the bottom left corner only for Edouard Mendy to thwart him with a great two-handed save.

The second half was flat with few open chances, with Mason Mount's long-strange strike that forced a fine save out of Lloris the only highlight.
Both sides though had half-chances to win it deep into the second half, but could not make them count.
First, Olivier Giroud was presented with an opportunity to score after a poor clearance, but his feeble ball could not go past Hugo Lloris.
Spurs then found themselves three against three in Chelsea's box, with Lucas Moura squaring it for Lo Celso, who instead of finding one of his teammates curled it to the far post behind Kane and the ball went out of play.
The draw saw Jose Mourinho's men move to the top of the table on 21 points, same as defending champions, who have an inferior goal difference.
For Frank Lampard's side, the point took their tally to 19, and they remain third on the table, a point above Leicester, who play on Monday night.
