Celta Vigo young defender Stefan Bajcetic has attracted interest from the Premier League duo of Liverpool and Manchester United.
While United was believed to be the favorites to land his signature going by the investment they are doing in young players, Faro de Vigo now reports that the player might move to Anfield after Liverpool officials traveled to Vigo on Tuesday to make final arrangements for his move to Merseyside.
Bajcetic was expected to sign with the Red Devils, but Brexit has forced the operation to accelerate, opening the door for the Premier League champions.
United have been in the market for young players as they look to revamp their academy with the club signing the likes of Pellistri and Diallo last summer this with reports claiming that they had already secured the services of 19-year-old Ecuadorian Caicedo.
