French forward Kylian Mbappe has paid tribute to coach Thomas Tuchel with the German expected to leave Paris Saint Germain.
Reports emerged on Thursday that PSG had parted ways with Tuchel and despite the club yet to confirm the same, Mbappe has moved to thank the coach for the contribution he made at the club in a clear indication that the tactician was leaving.
"It is sadly the law of football. Nobody will forget your time here. You wrote a wonderful part of the club's history and I say to you: 'thank you, coach'," Mbappe said in an Instagram post on Thursday that was accompanied by a picture of him with Tuchel.
There have been reports that former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is the favorite to replace Tuchel who has left the club at position three in the league after acquiring 35 points in the 17 games played.
Tuchel was appointed PSG head coach in 2018 and has won two Ligue 1 titles along with a domestic quadruple in his second season at the club but it is believed that his lack of a cutting edge in the Champions League was one major reason why the club decided to send him home.
