Lewandowski explains how Klopp made him one of the greatest ever strikers

World greatest striker Robert Lewandowksi has explained how Jurgen Klopp was like the worst teacher that one eventually holds in the highest esteem.

Lewandowski was signed by Klopp to Borussia Dortmund as an unknown talent from Poland’s Lech Poznan in 2010.

"Jurgen was not only a father figure to me. As a coach, he was like the 'bad' teacher. And I mean that in the best sense of the word," Lewandowski said via the Players' Tribune as quoted by Soccer Laduma.

"Let me explain. Think back to you when you were in school. Which teacher do you remember the most? Not the one who made life easy for you and never expected anything from you. No, no, no, he added.

The 32-year-old eventually rose to unimaginable heights as one of the best ever centre forwards in football history with 256 goals in 335 Bundesliga matches.
