Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic is set to return to Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt set to secure his services on a loan deal until the end of the season.
It will be a second spell for the Serbian at Frankfurt after leaving the club for the Laliga giants in 2019 for a fee of around €60m; the player having been signed as a long term successor of Karim Benzema.
Reports from Serbian newspaper outlet Republika now indicate that Bundesliga club and Real Madrid have come to an agreement for the striker to return to his former club on a six-month deal having just scored two goals in 32 appearances for Los Blancos.
Games for Jovic have been hard to come by this season for Real Madrid where he has just represented the side on four occasions.
Jovic will hope that he can reignite his mojo in front of goal with the German side where he was a hit during his two years with the club finding the net 36 times as they reached the Europa League semi-finals in 2019.
