AFC Leopards defender Yusuf Mainge is eager to help the club participate in a CAF competition after signing a new deal with the club.
Mainge who joined Leopards in 2018 after finishing school penned a new two-year deal and according to the player, he felt he was at a better place career-wise at the den.
“I feel great. This Club trusted in me while I had just left school, gave me the opportunity to play at the highest level as well as allowed me to go to Europe on loan and learn some more.
“I owe Leopards and I hope that during my stay here I can help the team achieve something great. We have a fantastic group and together I am confident that we will achieve our goals. Representing the nation in CAF will be a top achievement for this group and I believe we can,” Mainge is quoted by the club’s portal.
During his stay at the club, Mainge had a short loan stint with Slovakia top-flight side FK Phoronie but returned last year to continue with his Leopards adventure.
