Romelu Lukaku might be on his way back to England with reports rife that Manchester City is interested in his services.
The Telegraph says City manager Pep Guardiola and his side will target a new striker, left-back, and a defensive midfielder in the mega-money overhaul of their squad.
The club is in the market to look for a replacement for Sergio Aguero who is destined to leave the club in the summer on a free after failing to sign a new deal. The City all-time leading goalscorer has struggled with injuries and with age not on his side too, City is already looking for his replacement.
The reports claim that City has earmarked Lukaku, Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland and Benfica forward Darwin Nunez as long-term successors to Aguero if the latter fails to stay at the Etihad beyond this campaign.
Should Lukaku return, he won't be new in the surroundings having been in the books of City rivals Man United during his last season in the Premier League.
He has been one of the most in-form players at inter where he has scored 51 goals in 73 matches for the Nerazzurri.
