Argentine giants Boca Juniors want to bring Manchester United striker Edison Cavani to the club in 2022.
Cavani is in the twilight of his career and is expected to leave the English giants sometime in 2022 with Boca willing to pounce on the services of the striker once he is available.
ESPN reports that Boca has contacted the player’s camp over the switch but it is not clear whether the former PSG man will be willing to move back to South America with reports rife that United might trigger the year-long automatic contract extension in his current deal.
If that is to happen, then Boca will be one of the many clubs expected to queue for the player’s signature 18 months from now with teams in the MLS and China said to be interested in the player too.
