Kylian Mbappe: It is stupid to decide my future after last night

PSG forward Kylian Mbappe has insisted that it would be "stupid" to make any decisions over his future based on Tuesday's historic 4-1 win over Barcelona at Camp Nou.

La Blaugrana drew first blood on the night as Lionel Messi converted from 12 yards, but Mauricio Pochettino's men soon turned the game on its head, and the unplayable Mbappe was central to their comeback.

The 22-year-old's hat-trick inspired PSG to a dominant victory on the Catalans' turf at a time where he continues to be linked with a move to Real Madrid or Liverpool, but he has affirmed that he remains "happy" at PSG.

Speaking to RMC Sport after the game, the World Cup-winning Frenchman said: "It would be stupid to decide my future on a single match.

"The truth is that it is about reflecting for the long term. I have always said that I am happy here. This sort of match makes me even happier."

Mbappe became just the third player ever to hit a hat-trick against Barcelona in the Champions League on Tuesday, and he already boasts 21 goals for the campaign in all competitions.
