Liverpool teenager Harvey Elliott is tipped to be a sure success for the English Premier League.
A Blackburn Rovers source has declared Elliot will become a key footballer for Liverpool in the Premier League after seeing the English attacker on loan in the English Championship.
Elliot was signed from Fulham’s youth for €1,70 m in 2019, before he delivered five goals and 11 assists in 35 games this season.
“I know [Bournemouth manager] Jonathan Woodgate well, and he’s quite close to [Liverpool sporting director] Michael Edwards. He asked me about Harvey when he came to Blackburn, and I was like ‘f*cking hell, he’s brilliant!’," former Liverpool Stewart Downing told Goal.
"It’s his game-understanding, when to pass the ball, when to dribble, when to come inside, when to stay wide. For someone so young, it’s top-drawer,” he added.
Elliot was also one of the youngest players to earn Premier League minutes before moving to Blackburn.
Meanwhile, Liverpool will visit the Gunners at the Emirates after the international break.
