The Spanish Laliga match between hosts Cadiz and Valencia on Sunday which the firmer won 2-1 had to be interrupted due to a racist incident.
Valencia players left the pitch in solidarity with teammate Mouctar Diakhaby, who had engaged in a verbal altercation with Cadiz player Juan Cala.
Both set of players re-emerged without Diakhaby with the visitors revealing that the team convened during the break and decided to return to the field but remained committed to fighting racism.
The win saw Cadiz above Getafe and Osasuna into 13th.
