Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund have set a new price tag on winger Jadon Sancho.
Sancho was heavily linked with a move to United the last summer but a deal didn’t materialize owing to Dortmund’s asking prize of £100m+ something United were not willing to play.
With no team willing to part with such kind of money for the England international, his club has now reduced his fee to £86m if they fail to qualify for the Champions League according to reports from The Times.
The move is said to have alerted United who is still interested in the winger despite the club understood to be drooling over his BVB team-mate Erling Haaland as reported by MEN.
The new fee could within United’s spending limit this summer but with the club still keen on a new central defender and a striker, it remains to be seen if they will go all out for Sancho who has never hidden his admiration in returning to the Premier League.
Sancho who has been out for six weeks with a thigh injury returned to training this week but is still not match fit enough to face their former employers in the Champions League on Wednesday night as his club seeks to make it to the semi-finals of the competition.
Sancho left Man City in 2017 and joined Dortmund where he has become one of the most valuable players in the world.
