Arsenal legend Paul Merson has urged Jude Bellingham to reject a move to the Premier League and stay with Borussia Dortmund.
Bellingham has been in fine form for Dortmund this season and produced an outstanding performance in the Champions League's both legs against Manchester City. The England international has been linked with a move to Chelsea but Merson believes he should reject a move to the Premier League.
In his column, Merson wrote the 17-year-old would 'walk into most Premier League teams' but should not rush to leave Dortmund.
"Jude Bellingham would walk into most Premier League teams because he’s a Rolls Royce footballer," the Arsenal legend wrote in his Daily Star column.
"But the top six missed a trick by letting him go to Germany and they must be kicking themselves now. Bellingham would walk into the Manchester City, Liverpool, or Manchester United teams. He would rip it up at Arsenal or Tottenham."
"But he should stay at Borussia Dortmund because they believe in him and he is playing every week. He’s in a good place."
"I was blown away watching him against City. He knew everywhere to go. His game management was phenomenal. It was like seeing an old head on young shoulders because to do what he’s doing at 17 is extraordinary really."
Bellingham's contract with Dortmund is set to expire in the summer of 2023.
