Paris Saint Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that the duo of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar will remain at the club.
There have been reports that the duo is on their way out of the club and despite reports rife that Neymar Jnr is on the verge of signing a new deal, the same is yet to be in place with the player once again linked with Barcelona.
On the other hand, Mbappe’s future has been a subject of speculation having been linked with a move to Real Madrid where fellow countryman Zinedine Zidane is the head coach something that Pochettino is against both player’s having their current deals wending in 2022.
"The club wants to win the Champions League and the aim of this club is to keep Neymar and Kylian so that they stay for many years. [I am] equally optimistic with both. In three months, we have [developed] a very good relationship.
"Both players are very committed to the club. Any team would like to have them in their ranks. I am optimistic that they will stay," he said, as quoted by Marca.
PSG is currently still in contention to win the UEFA Champions League trophy after eliminating title holders Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals. They will be facing Manchester City in the two-legged semi-finals next.
