Last week, Manchester City confirmed the signing of highly-rated 17-year-old Brazilian Kayky from Fluminense.
We are delighted to confirm we have reached an agreement with Fluminese regarding the future transfer of Kayky. The teenage forward will remain with Fluminese until the end of the Brazilian season.— Manchester City (@ManCity) April 23, 2021

The attacker is under contract with Fluminense until the end of the 2021-22 season but will leave the Brazilian outfit one year earlier to join up with his new teammates in England on New Year's Day 2022. Underaged players are not allowed to move to England, and Kayky does not turn 18 until June of this year.
💶 The financial terms of Kayky's deal
Initially, there were exaggerated reports about Kayky's fee with Brazilian media speculating that the player would cost in the region of €26m, but those were slightly wide of the mark.
- 💰 Several sources have reported that Man City will pay €10m upfront.
- 📊 Performance-based bonuses could see Fluminense earn €16 million on top of the original fee.
- 💸 Fluminense will receive 20% of any future transfer.
- 📜 Kayky's Man City deal will run for five years.
If Man City wins away to Crystal Palace on Saturday and Man United loses to Liverpool at Old Trafford later in the weekend, City would be crowned champions on Sunday night.
