Manchester United ace Bruno Fernandes, has highlighted the club’s actual standards as world giants.
The Portuguese star is set to lead the Red Devils in Thursday’s Europa League second leg semi-final against AS Roma, and most likely in the final.
"For us, it is a signal of improvement if we win the Europa League, because last season we didn't win anything. So, if we win a trophy this season it is an improvement - but still not enough for us," Fernandes said via Sky Sports.
"But it is something growing up from the club. From the players, it is a sign that we are doing a little bit better, but we have still a lot to improve on as I said before, and we will improve.
"Honestly, for me when you play a club like this your standard has to be high,” the club’s Player of the Season elect concluded.
With the Red Devils holding a very comfortable 6-2 lead from the first leg, Thursday’s game is expected to be somewhat of a training session.
