Bayern Munich have won the Bundesliga for a record-extending ninth time, with RB Leipzig's loss to Borussia Dortmund sealing the deal even before Hansi Flick's side played Borussia Mönchengladbach on Matchday 32.
Leipzig had been Bayern's closest rivals for most of the 2020/21 season, but they trailed the record champions by seven points heading into their match against Borussia Dortmund, which served as a warm-up for Thursday's DFB Cup final.
The 3-2 defeat leaves them with only six left to play for against Wolfsburg and Union Berlin in the final two games of the season, a record 30th Bundesliga title is Bayern's.
Thomas Müller and David Alaba will lift a record-equaling 10th Meisterchale, win, lose or draw against Gladbach
Meanwhile, Dortmund's win lifted them to fourth spot and kept alive their chances of qualifying for the Champions League.
